Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program Apply
The Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives in Pakistan to provide opportunities for young graduates to gain practical experience and skills in various fields. The program is open to Pakistani citizens aged 18-30 with a Bachelor’s degree.
The program offers paid internships in various public and private sector organizations for a duration of six months. The aim is to expose young people to the professional world, help them build their networks, and enhance their employability. The program also includes a training component, where interns receive formal training in leadership, communication, and critical thinking. During the internship, internees will be placed in Public, private and development sector organizations to gain first-hand experience.
The Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program is part of the government’s broader efforts to promote youth development and address the challenges of unemployment and underemployment among young people in Pakistan.
Eligible Disciplines for Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program
The Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program is open to all Pakistani citizens aged 18-30 with a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute. Students and graduates from the above-mentioned disciplines are eligible to apply for the program. However, applicants must fulfil other eligibility criteria, such as having a valid CNIC, being able to commit to a six-month / twelve-month full-time internship, and meeting any additional requirements specified by the participating organizations.
Amount of Stipend during Internship
The amount of stipend paid to interns under the Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program may vary depending on the organization and the nature of the internship. However, according to the program’s official website, interns will receive a monthly stipend of PKR Rs. 25,000 – 40,000 for the duration of the internship. This stipend is intended to cover the intern’s transportation and other expenses during the internship period. It’s worth noting that the stipend may be subject to taxes and deductions as per government rules and regulations.
