The KP government has merged levies and khasadars in the police. Which is only to eradicate the expected pressure by levies and khasadars protests.
The government achieve its mission and succeeded to calm enraged personnels. The local masses appreciate the government decision but they are not aware that they will be awarded ranks of Inspectors and DSPs and will halt the way for new vigilant officers. The situation is very much bewildered by looking to SHOs and DSPs not able to read and write FIRs. Surprisingly, how can the government give important posts to a person whose educational background is on dangerous frontiers?
The government should abolish rank-to-rank promotion and should take serious measures for proper policing in tribal districts.
